Women Economists:

Women in the History of Economic Thought

The project

This project aims to illuminate the significant yet often overlooked contributions of women to political economy, spanning from the 17th century to the present day and coming from all over the planet.

Many of these women were not formally trained as economists—either due to the absence of the field at the time or their exclusion from academic institutions—but they were nonetheless deeply engaged with the economic issues of their time and place.

Who were these women and on what they wrote about?

Let see!
